We all have learned to focus on the eyes in a portrait. Just look at a random portrait. It’s always the eyes that are sharp and drawing your attention. If you manage to shoot a portrait of a woman with a butterfly in front of her mouth and still yes still looking at her eyes before seeing the butterfly, you know you have shot it perfectly.
