Like Henri Cartier-Bresson said: “It’s all about the decisive moment”. In this beautiful shot of  the canals in Venice, it’s not about the wide angle, which gives the canal an unusual view, it’s about the pigeon that flies through the image.  Has the photographer waited for this pigeon? After all there are plenty in Venice. Or is it taken on purpose with the pigeon in it. It makes this shot even more powerful. So wait for the right moment and anticipate on what could happen next.
